Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. She trained in boxing kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before completing her amateur debut at age 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd went on an impressive three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent within the first round. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's professional career. Ladd rebounded from her defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11, she was able to slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta 16 saw her move into the Bantamweight division after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen made use of her wrestling prowess to defeat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then faced Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in the catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd did not make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground to pick up a second-round TKO victory. Ladd remained in the lead as she picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next bout. Ladd took the win in round one and was awarded the performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee fight with Eubanks of Sijara, was the first fight she's had in a major capacity. Both fighters put up an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight and ended her streak to win. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. For a replacement last minute for her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
